Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F5-6 Surf / Sea State: Medium waves Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny, some clouds Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Went to Shoreham for the after work session. Webcams showing 25-30mph from
the SW. Hoping for a wave or two and side shore conditions. I was not
disappointed. Good lines coming in as the water licked around the base of
the rocks. Most waves were 2-4 foot, with occasional cleaner, drawn out
ones, some bigger further out. Good for jumping too, although left arm was
suffering from this mornings no-harness line half-mile return to the beach!
Possibly rigging a 5m again was part of the problem. Starting to get a bit
low on energy too. Oh well. Concentrated on the nice inside wave rides and
got some decent down the line combinations. As the tide pushed up it got
better until eventually got spat onto the beach by a late shorebreak ride.
Small hole in the sail window was a good excuse to pack it in and watch the
others. Good sesh.
